Continuing on the Road to Alpha
April 30, 2009
Just a quick status update regarding the EpicTable alpha:
I’ve gotten a lot done since I first started to talk about an alpha, and I’ll be making something available “before too long”, by which I mean several weeks, not several months.
My goals for the alpha have changed a bit as a result of my participation in FUMcon 2009. One of my original goals for the alpha was to get the product in front of people and get some feedback. The series of demos I ran during FUMcon and have continued to run since the convention have actually accomplished that goal. As a result, I have less incentive to rush something out to you. I’m thinking of the alpha more as a closely controlled beta, rather than an early feedback mechanism at this point.
If you didn’t get a chance to see EpicTable during FUMcon or any of the demos since, just let me know, and we’ll set something up.
Thoughts on FUMcon 2009
April 13, 2009
FUMcon 2009 is just wrapping up. It was a great experience participating as a virtual tabletop vendor this year. I’d like to thank everyone who attended one of the EpicTable “guided tours”. I got lots of really useful feedback, and it was exciting to let people see the product in more depth than just a few screenshots. Read more

I’ll be giving four “guided tours” of EpicTable during FUMcon. I want to call your attention to the fact that my event times on the FUMcon site are all in GMT/UTC. (This is a recent change—they were originally in Eastern Daylight Time.) Continue reading for for schedule and technology information. Read more
