Just a quick post to update you on the progress towards an EpicTable alpha. I’m still in integration mode, adding pieces into the product that I’ve developed and tested separately, and fixing issues that arise out of early testing. Nothing too scary thus far.
I’m feverishly working towards something demoable for FUMcon in April. I’m not sure what form my participation is going to take. It could be that this is a “show and tell” sort of demo, where I use WebEx or something similar to give folks a guided tour of EpicTable. It’s possible that the demo will be done in-game, with a pre-release version of EpicTable. However, with things still coming together, I don’t want to spring something that’s not ready on people, nor do I want to put a lot of work into “walling off” unfinished portions of the product. So, we’ll see.
Regardless of how I participate in FUMcon, I’m still planning a “guided play” alpha this Spring. I’ll announce my plans for FUMcon in the next week or so. If you’re unable to participate in FUMcon, I’m happy to run the same sort of demo for the folks here.
