Hello there! First off, I just wanted to say, fantastic looking work from what I've been able to see so far! I've been scouting Virtual Tables for months, and just can't seem to find one that has all of the features I want. Epic Table is the first I've seen that (from my understanding) seems to have everything. I'm sure all of your hard work will pay off!

Now then, my questions! ;)

Fog of war is a HUUUUUGE must for me, and it looks like your system handles that very well. I did have a couple of questions on how some of that is handled specifically though. Does each player have their own unique view of the map based on what their character can see, or do all players share a universal "player view"?

If they do have a unique view, what happens in the following example - 3 Characters are in a hallway. Player A has a candle that lights up 3 squares around him in every direction. Players B and C walk north and south respectively, let’s say 8 squares away. Do they see black space all around, or do they see black space all around AND Player A's light source/character lit up in the distance? Does Player B and Player C see each other (AKA, does the Fog of War mask them when appropriate)? Now let’s say Player A walks into an alcove 1 square, blocking his character from sight. Will they still see where his light source illuminates the hall they occupy?
Ohh that brings up another question - Is there any to mark a map (with a hidden layer or something) to denote walls\doors\objects? So that, if my players were in the center of a room with 4 large pillars around them, the fog of war would extend to only visible areas, keeping the backs of said pillars cloaked?

I think that’s all my major Fog of War questions!

Now this next thing might be a first... I've honestly not seen anyone else ask this on any of your competitor’s forums either, so maybe I'm crazy but....
I'm assuming (correct me if I'm wrong) that the DM can mark a Monster as hidden, or invisible or something, preventing the players from seeing it until I spring the trap, or attack, or whatever. Here's where I'm HOPING to get crafty at some point. Is there any way to denote a numerical value to that and associate it with a skill (Perhaps as another option, so you might have something like "Visible - Invisible - Skill")?

Let me explain what I'm hoping to accomplish! I would like to have, for example, a pit trap in my hallway. I would probably keep this set to Invisible until triggered. I would then set a graphic on that same square of a bunch of cracks, or a tripwire, or something like that. I would set this to Skill-Passive Perception 20 (or whatever). So, when my characters come traipsing down this hallway, the cracked looking floor graphic only appears for characters with a passive perception of 20+. Now it's in my player’s hands to be very observant, and to let their fellow players know something doesn't look right, or whatever the situation is.

As I said, I haven't seen anything like that anywhere else, it’s just something I have in my head that I went "That would be awesome" kind of thing. So I guess that’s really more of a suggestion than anything else! ;)

Another question! Are Players able to set up and save actions? So, if I wanted to have a Magic Missile spell, I could create a dice roll, name it Magic Missile, set my dice and modifiers (Pulling modifiers directly from certain outputs on the character sheet would be nice, but I understand I'm probably wishing too hard there) and then save it. Now, every time I want to use that spell, I can just click the button, or select it from a dropdown or whatever. And Crap. I think I just realized something else. Do character sheets even have something like Excel's Cells? I think I saw you filling one out using drag able texts box's in the demo right? So maybe my Skills thing up above is moot too, if that’s the case.

Alright then, I think that’s enough text for round 1!

Thanks again for all your hard work supporting us gamers!

Exhibiting at Gen Con was very instructive. Over and over, for four days straight, I got to ask people what games they were playing and talk to them about how EpicTable could help them do that online or face-to-face.
